The book "Genre, temps sociaux et parentés" (Harmattan, 2008, 330 p) is now available. The book has been written under the direction (edited by) Pascaline Gaborit, ENTP Director. "It is becoming increasingly difficult to find a balance between times dedicated to work, family, leisure and civic life. The globalization, the acceleration of the economy and transport, the generalization of womens' employment, and the decreasing of  fertility rate, as well as the redefinition of fathers' and mothers' roles, are factors with major repercussions on everybody's time management. This book studies how in different European countries these issues are affecting people's time, especially parents' ones. The balance between the different social times can lead to some concerns but can also bring confidence." The publication is in French with main articles being translated into English....
