Objective(s): The idea is to rehabilitate creeks and small rivers of urban areas, and to try and restore their functions (heritage values, habitat functions, recreational potentials).

Restoring rivers and streams of urban landscapes proves to be challenging, because costs are often high and many stakeholders get involved. However, it is the urban location that offers the greatest opportunities for a large number of people to be close to water even in its natural state.
