Greenways To Investment: delivering more competitive city-regions through green infrastructure

 

Objective(s): Demonstrate the economic and social benefits of green infrastructure networks and their contribution to city-region competitiveness in North West Europe through:

• strategic ploanning of 'green infrastructure', to help deliver more competitive city-regions
• measuring the economic and social benefits of green infrastructure networks
• implementing environmental improvements to provide attractive investment locations and more liveable communities
• embedding green infrastructure into regeneration strategies and planning policies

 
Partnership: eligible bodies, preferably linked with other local partners such as public bodies, private sector enterprises and research institutes.
